So far my students have determined that these fragments are parts of a collar, that they are from China, and that they are post 1860s.

A textile mystery

I know very little about this textile, so I can't tell you a lot about it.  

However, I soon hope that we will all know a lot more about this textile, as some of the Textile Design History Students are researching it.
